It frightens me to think
I've created in my mind
A fairy tale love affair
One that I'll never find

If you're just a dream
Then I don't want to wake

But without my dreams
Of happily ever after
My life will be without
The joyful sound of laughter

Will there ever be a prince
In my story book of love?
To share with my whole life

Like a phantom in the night

Atop his great white horse
